Sipi falls is situated at Kapchorwa District Uganda . The water falls lie on the edge of the Mount Elgon National Park near the Kenyan Border. Sipi falls are approximately 277 km from Kampala the capital city of Uganda. This place is one of the highly appreciated tourist destinations in Uganda. The name Sipi was derived from the word of SEPU which is the name of a wild Banana like indigenous plant that grows along with the bank of Sipi River.
